The
mansion was built in the 18th century.
Built in the traditional Rajput style by
Thakur Deo Singh Ji of Palkiya, the Haveli has beautifully carved
balconies, attractive courtyards, open terraces, lovely gardens and
comfortable rooms with ancient furniture.
Lying on the banks of the
Parvan river, it is an excellent specimen of contemporary architecture.
The Haveli has an interesting painted entrance which leads to the central
courtyard. Balconies surround the Haveli and provide a panoramic view of
the river and the fort. Jeep safaris can be arranged to the places of
interest around Shergarh. Boating, angling in the Parvan river and
